ST. LOUIS, MO — Pride St. Louis is proud to announce the first recipients of its Community Give Back Fund, a grant program supporting initiatives that uplift and empower the LGBTQIA+ community across the St. Louis area.

For its inaugural funding cycle, Pride St. Louis has awarded two $2,500 grants to standout applicants selected by the Pride St. Louis Board of Directors: Camp Indigo Point and The Wisdom Exchange: Caring for Our Future Selves.

Camp Indigo Point will utilize funding to provide scholarships for LGBTQIA+ youth to attend an affirming residential summer camp, creating a safe and joyful environment where young people can build confidence and thrive in community. The Wisdom Exchange will launch a community lunch series focused on connection, planning, and healthy aging, offering participants tools and opportunities to build intergenerational support networks.

“Our goal with the Community Give Back Fund is to create barrier-free opportunities that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community,” said Jordan Braxton, Director of Diversity Equity and Outreach. “These first recipients embody that mission, and we are proud to support programs that center connection, care, and empowerment.”

This first round of grants marks just the beginning of Pride St. Louis’ investment in year-round support for the local LGBTQIA+ community. Pride St. Louis looks forward to continuing the program and expanding its impact in the months ahead.
