Pride St. Louis is comprised completely of volunteers. We have 15 elected board members, but no paid positions within the organization. Each year, it takes about 75 Committee members and volunteers to make our events and activities happen!
We’re an inclusive organization that welcomes participants from all walks of life. To get involved, simply come to a meeting and join in.
About our meetings:
Pride meets on the fourth Monday of every month starting in August through March. From April through June, though, we meet every Monday in order to gear up for our biggest event of the year, the annual St. Louis PrideFest. During the month of July no Community Meetings are held.
Meetings are held at Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Washington & Euclid in the Central West End (enter from Washington. Meetings begin at 7:00 and typically last 1 ½ hours, followed by an informal social gathering at a neighborhood establishment.
There’s no formal membership process for Pride. We welcome all who are interested to simply drop in at a meeting and get involved
Becoming a Volunteer:
We need all sorts of volunteers to help us plan the many events we host every year!
From greeting people as they arrive at an Open House, to organizing auctions and fundraisers, to participating in PrideFest or our National Coming Out Day activities, you are sure to make great new friends while feeling good about the work you are doing in our community!
